Guidance: Students are guided towards identifying some of the general factors 
that affect research into media effects on pro and antisocial behaviour.  There are 
three sections, not all need be used.  This task can be followed up by giving students 
descriptions of relevant research studies and getting them to apply the relevant 
criticisms to produce more effective commentary and evaluation.
