---------------------- www.psychlotron.org.uk ---------------------- Name of resource: Memory Bingo Submitted by: Aidan Sammons Specification details: AQA-A Other specifications: Edexcel(?), AQA-B(?) Guidance: Really effective revision activity. Print out the cards (there are 21, all different) & cut them out. Cut the definitions into strips and put them in a bag (or make your own up). This takes about 20-30 mins depending on how you spin it out. Give each student a card and play bingo. You read out the definitions, they scan their card to see if they have the corresponding term/name/datum etc. Winner is the first to fill their card in (12 items). As a variation, hold back a couple of the more common items to ensure that no-one wins too quickly and so that several complete simulataneously. Bickman is good for this. More elaborate revision activity: get the students to make a bingo card and set of clues each (with the terms/names etc. being drawn from an agreed pool IYW). Then they swap over & play as above.
