Students are invited to consider where a particular approach stands with reference to three debates - nature/nurture, freedom/determinism & scientific/person-centred, then to compare their perspective with others to make some comparison/contrast points. As designed, students were divided into four groups and each assigned an approach with feedback from each group to draw out the comparison/contrast points.
