Guidance: activity in which students are given three descriptions of experimental studies.  They must
state a ndirectional and a non-directional hypothesis for each.  They must then use information from
a summary table of data (mean and SD) to decide whether the hypothesis should be accepted.  Extension
task requies them to comment on what conclusions could be drawn from the SDs.
